Soon ready for construction plots at Kopstad

Backfilling of masses at Kopstad freight terminal is in full swing. We have divided the area into different zones depending on, among other things, ground conditions. Some areas depend on a couple of years of pre-loading before they are filled. The areas furthest south (see the picture with the area facing the railway) have good ground conditions and are immediately filled. Only the top layer remains. These areas will be completed in 2026. We have also received many sleepers from old railway sections, from, among other things, Kobbervikdalen, which are now being used as a sealing layer at the bottom. These contain little iron and have been accepted by the State Administrator to be laid directly in the ground, without crushing.
