Important political visit to Kopstad - united for the green logistics of the future

On Friday 12.6, the Kopstad freight terminal was visited by key politicians and partners. The meeting marks an important step forward in putting the terminal on the national agenda.

With its unique location between the E18 and the Vestfold Line, Kopstad has enormous potential for moving more freight from road to rail and sea. During the visit, the parties discussed the importance of getting the necessary government grants in place to realize full rail connectivity and an efficient infrastructure.

There is broad cross-political agreement that a full-fledged freight terminal at Kopstad will strengthen both national preparedness and our environmental goals. The close cooperation between politicians and the business community in the region will be crucial to achieving the project.
