Horten can get a freight terminal, car parking, waste reception and Norway's largest train workshop at Kopstad - if they get two tracks to the Vestfold Railway. A track access is absolutely crucial for the freight terminal project to be carried out, says Petter Eiken, chairman of Oslofjord Logistikk AS. In Oslofjord Logistikk AS's plans, Multiconsult has outlined an unloading station, dimensioned for a 740 meter long freight train. The longest run on European tracks.
